Indian Almond Catappa Leaves - Betta/Shrimp Aquarium Fish Tank

Description

The size of the leaves are approximately 7 inches by 4 inches.  One leaf is good for a 5 to 10 gallon tank.
You can place the leaves right into your tank but it may turn the water slightly brown.  You can prepare the leaves:
(1) You can boil the leaves for 5 to 10 minutes, let it cool and then place them into the tank.
(2) You can soak them in a separate container for several days before putting them into your tank.
Indian Almond leaves is beneficial for your shrimp / betta / and fish aquarium.  The benefits are that the leaves:
Improves the natural color of shrimp
Provides micro-organisms
Helps the molting process, (reduces mortality rate during this stage)
Has acids and gives out natural tannins (which have anti-bacterial quality)
Provides anti-fungal properties (for fish it helps with fin rot)
Excellent medicinal properties (prevents diseases)
Slightly reduces pH
Promote spawning
