Description
Jackfruit leaves come from theArtocarpus heterophyllus
family native to southwest India. These leaves come from a tree closely related to the Mulberry tree, sharing many similar benefits when used in an aquarium setting.
These leaves are aesthetically appealing in a terrarium setting when used as organic leaf litter. Providing shelter to your reptiles and amphibians while also acting as a food source for isopods! These leaves are hardy and not thin like Mulberry leaves.
We highly recommend these leaves to shrimp and fish keepers! Jack fruit leaves provide an abundance of antibacterial and antifungal properties in an aquarium.
Similar to Mulberry leaves, these leaves provide excellent nutrition for fish and shrimp and surface growing biofilm, while s
timulating breeding and reduces pH levels in your water.
How to use in an aquarium:
These leaves can be boiled to promote the leaves to sink to the bottom of your aquarium faster or simply rinse the leaves to remove any soil debris.
Place 1-2 leaves per 10 gallons of aquarium volume.
These leaves measure roughly 6-8'' in length.
